Caloundra Chorale and Theatre Company Art Exhibition Opening Night
Caloundra Chorale and Theatre Company will reopen its doors in January for an exquisite art showcase.
The intimacy of the little theatre has meant that all concerts and plays for 2020 had to be cancelled to comply with Covid restrictions.
So rather than close, the CCTC team have thought outside the box. Taking centre stage will be paintings, sculptures, and photography.
This artwork will showcase the talent within the CCTC- those involved behind the scenes with sets, painting and design- and friends and family of the CCTC members. Many of the pieces will be available for sale.

Funny Mummies Comedy Gala
Funny Mummies is a stand-up comedy show performed by mothers for mothers.
Three mama comedians (Jasmine Fairbairn, Jenny Wynter, Carolyn Mandersloot) present a mothering themed stand-up show, allowing and encouraging the audience to laugh at their own stories of the crap parts of parenthood, tales of epic mothering fails and ever-relatable domestic dramas.
As a stand-up comedy show, this is a production of technical simplicity, which promotes the coming together of a community of like-minded mothers to experience some much needed comic relief from the stress of day-to-day parenting!

The Jazz and Blue Collective presents – Dan Bolton Band
The Jazz and Blues Collective resumes events at a new venue on Sunday 7th February.
The Millwell Road Community Centre in Maroochydore, is airconditioned and has plenty of parking. It will be BYO (no glass) and there’s even a dance floor if you feel like a boogie!
The first event will premiere the ‘Dan Bolton Band’, arguably Australia’s premier jazz singer/songwriter/pianist. His songs are 21st Century standards, incorporating elements of jazz, pop and Latin American styles.
His music is reminiscent of George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin but with a modern twist.
Dan will be performing with Dave Cox (woodwinds) and Rodney Ford on drums and John Conley on double bass & guitar.

She specializes in the field of Contemporary Abstraction, which includes abstract street art and abstract comics.
Be prepared to delve into a variety of contemporary street art techniques and produce an artwork based on these.
