Welcome to Valentine’s Day (February 14) on the Sunshine Coast.

From farmyard soirees at QCamel to luxurious stays at some of Australia’s most romantic properties, the Sunshine Coast is the perfect place to feel the love this February 14, and here we’ve rounded up six of the best.

A whimsical evening of Camels and Canapes

When planning a romantic evening, a camel may not be the first thing that springs to mind.

But this Valentine’s Day, the team at QCamel dairy are bringing a touch of romance to the farm with their event – Camels and Canapes.

Couples are invited for an afternoon on their picturesque property overlooking the Glass House Mountains.

The camels at QCamel are eager for a cuddle and a kiss this Valentine’s Day.

As well as spectacular views, there will be a grazing table of canapes from local growers – including a selection of camel milk products – local craft beer and bottles of bubbles.

And there, surrounded by the hay bales, twinkling lights and fresh country air, the resident camels will be on the roam hoping to sneak a kiss and a cuddle for themselves. Tickets are $100, visit qcamel.com.au/event.

A night of romance

Romance is in the air on the Sunshine Coast, at least according to travellers.

In the recent Tripadvisor 2020 Travellers’ Choice Awards, Bli Bli House Riverside Retreat was voted the best ‘Hotel for Romance’ in Australia.

This Valentine’s Day, enjoy the charm of a bygone era on board the Mary Valley Rattler Love Train.

The Mary Valley Rattler is holding a special service this Valentine’s Day.
