Local builders, Campbell Construction Co, are supporting our chopper doctors after signing a corporate partnership with RACQ LifeFlight Rescue.

Campbell Construction Co will support the vital refurbishment of the Lifeflight helicopter base at the Sunshine Coast Airport.

The renovation will include upgrades to the medical storage room to aid critical care doctors, improvements to the hangar to enhance training, and updates to the office space.

Campbell Construction Co owner, Ben Campbell, said the renovations were well underway and, along with the improved helicopter base, was expected to be completed by early this year.

“We are extremely proud to support RACQ LifeFlight Rescue and these renovations for the Sunshine Coast base,” Mr Campbell said.

“It’s not every day you get to work alongside an organisation like this and play part in such an important role in helping the community.

“This is one of RACQ LifeFlight’s busiest bases so we are honoured to do our part in helping them upgrade their facilities and keep on saving lives.”

To show gratitude for the contribution, Campbell Construction Co will have a recognition tile placed on RACQ LifeFlight Rescue’s ‘Wall of Appreciation’.
