The multimillion-dollar Sunshine Coast health and wellbeing project, Vitality Village, has been given a significant boost with local technology company ENTAG set to move in.

ENTAG will move a team of 65 staff from the Kon Tiki Business Centre in Maroochydore to the new purpose-built facility in the health and hospital precinct in Birtinya.

It will occupy 470 m2 of office space on the fourth floor of the building.

ENTAG CEO Kris Carver said he was looking forward to seeing his team move into the new office and collaborating with other like-minded tenants.

“We are excited by the Village’s close proximity to the Kawana Health Precinct as well as the building’s focus on health and wellbeing where collaboration between tenants will be encouraged and we can use our specific skill set and expertise in technology and digital health to help position the Sunshine Coast as a leader in this field,” Mr Carver said.

“ENTAG’s goal is to be a leading Technology Services business with national scale. Our collaboration with Vitality Village will enhance our ability to a be a leader in digital health,” he said.

“We were established here on the Sunshine Coast and we are proud of the expertise of our people and the solutions we continue to deliver to our clients across Australia. We are very much looking forward to combining our significant technology experience with leaders in the health and wellbeing space to bring significant change for the better to the industry.”

Acting Be CEO Rosie Overfield said ENTAG joined other early adopters such as 121 Care, IFYS, Compass Institute, Character Care, The Allied Health Team and Be to become tenants in the project which had achieved 70% tenancy ahead of opening mid-year.

“We are thrilled to have such a progressive local company such as ENTAG as a tenant in Vitality Village. They are exactly the type of organisation we are looking to attract, particularly with ENTAG’s vision to become a leader in the digital health space.

“We have received interest from a number of other tenants and we are being very selective in choosing those businesses who align with the values and mission of Vitality Village to ensure there is as much synergy as possible across all tenants.

“We want liked-minded businesses and professionals to join us as we seek to transform health outcomes in a new model that seeks to share knowledge and experience and successes,” Rosie said.

Ms Overfield said the team from McNab were progressing well with construction of the building and tenants would be able to commence their fitout from April, with occupancy on track for June this year.

Mr Carver said the potential of the Vitality Village project was enormous and he and his team were eagerly anticipating moving in and collaborating with other tenants.

“We’ve already had positive discussion with Be and other tenants on how we can work together.

“Vitality Village is more than a building; it is a curated environment of like-minded businesses and leaders in the health space. We can collaborate and support each other to achieve brilliant outcomes. This project focus aligns directly with our digital health business.”
