Leading Sunshine Coast developer Pelican Waters is winding forward a boutique terrace home project as the region experiences a wave of interest in luxury, low-maintenance housing.

The award-winning masterplanned community has responded to record demand for its Signature Terrace homes, with the release of a brand new collection overlooking the emerging island precinct’s Central Park.

To be known as the Park Series, it follows the outstanding success of stage one, where all 10 terraces are now sold and construction underway according to Pelican Waters’ general manager of development, Hamish Pressland.

“Enquiry for low maintenance, downsizer product on the southern Sunshine Coast is unprecedented at the moment so we have responded with seven brand new park facing terraces due to selling out all current stock,’’ Mr Pressland said.

“There is a yawning gap in the Sunshine Coast property market for well designed, constructed and located terrace home living.  We are providing that option in spades at present, and they are going really quickly.”

The new collection of architecturally-designed Park Series homes, priced from $770,000 to $825,000, is already performing beyond expectations with four selling prior to going to market. Only two opportunities remain in stage two.

A boutique terrace home project is among the developments on the emerging island at Pelican Waters.

“Given the demand, a third terrace release comprising five more Park Series homes will be going on sale in the near future with prices yet to be announced,’’ he said.

The Park Series offers dual living, a choice of three or four bedrooms, master bedroom on lower and upper level, three bathrooms, stone benchtops, high ceilings, internal covered courtyard, stainless steel appliances and double garage.

“The original design has had further refinements made since the first stage which make these terraces so sought after,’’ Mr Pressland said.

Forging ahead: Huge growth for southern Sunshine Coast.

Buyers benefit from freehold ownership, no body corporate fees, low maintenance, high quality construction, no shared walls with neighbours, lift options, plus the homes are pet friendly.

Major incentives also include the flexibility for buyers to reflect their own style with personal designs and the $15,000 builder’s grant for approved applicants giving a massive discount on a new home.

“An ideal way to experience the look and feel of Signature Terrace life is to drop into the new Pelican Waters sales centre on the corner of Coral Sea Drive and Arlington Avenue which is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm and on weekends from 10am to 4pm,’’ Mr Pressland said.
