Local health services are set to be boosted after four leading businesses partnered with hospital foundation Wishlist.

The businesses will support the charity’s annual investment in health service enhancements and the new transitionary care accommodation project, Wishlist Centre.

Local energy provider LPE has committed to support the energy costs of Wishlist’s two accommodation facilities, Reed House and Wishlist House.

When Wishlist Centre is completed late next year, LPE will ensure operational costs are kept to a minimum.

The renowned local family-owned Mattress Company continues its support of Wishlist’s accommodation program, committing further support to Wishlist Centre through a corporate partnership.

Wishlist Centre will offer 18 bedrooms to guests needing affordable accommodation, close to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, and Wishlist’s preferred supplier of bedding for hospital patients and families is the Mattress Company, Yandina.

Entag and Telstra Business Technology Centre has also played a pivotal role in support of Wishlist House (also known as The House The Coast Built) and Wishlist’s accommodation program, and will work with Wishlist to ensure the IT and communication costs of all facilities, including Wishlist Centre are kept to a minimum.

April Ford, the leading local digital marketing company, is completing a revamped website for Wishlist and, through its corporate partnership, will further support Wishlist in various capacities, including digital marketing, social media advertising and the promotion of key fundraising event Wishlist Spring Carnival.

The support offered by Wishlist’s partners helps deliver the $1 million investment Wishlist commits to local hospitals each year and helps it achieve its $2 million fundraising target for Wishlist Centre by 2022.
