Felicity Urquhart is one of the best-loved and most decorated country singer-songwriters in Australia while Josh is renowned as a member of the beloved and multi award-winning folk-rock trio The Waifs. Both have enjoyed lengthy, successful and enduring musical careers. In January 2020, Felicity and Josh were invited to join Song Club – a creative collective that tasked members with writing one song per week. This challenge gave the pair a lifeline to creativity and community as well as an abundance of new material, enough in fact to make a whole album.

Diesel Tailored Set – Solo by Request
Following the release of his ARIA Top 10 album Sunset Suburbia and also a greatest hits package 30: The Greatest Hits’, Diesel is stripping back into solo mode and heading around the country to tour. A show where the audience plays the main part in forming the set list for the night. The audience makes the song selections from a list of songs posted on Diesel’s website (dieselmusic.com.au). The idea of letting the audience ‘hand pick’ the songs makes for a spontaneous night of select music.

Ed Kuepper With Jim White
Ed Kuepper, the co-founder of ’70’s proto-punks The Saints, chief architect of the uncompromising Laughing Clowns and The Aints! and master songsmith over some 15 plus solo albums partners with Jim White, the brilliant drummer of renowned instrumentalists Dirty Three in the genre-defying Xylouris White and disciple of all things Ed. Together they will tackle 45 years worth of Kuepper catalogue with a twist that only these two game-changers could apply. The show will coincide with a trio of retrospective releases from Kuepper covering his solo years.

Walking While Drawing – Sensory Walk with Libby Derham
Join watercolour artist Libby Derham as she takes you on an immersive sensory drawing walk through Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. Learn to slow down and soak up the sights, sounds and scents of the reserve rainforest while creating a personal record of your journey on a mark-making scroll. After the walk, Libby will share how she turns these scrolls into contemporary watercolour works of art. Libby will supply paper rolls (for mark-making scrolls), pencils and clipboards for participants.

Trail Run Australia – Sunshine Coast
Run some of the most scenic and challenging trails of anywhere in Australia including a half marathon, 11K and 5K events plus the free kids mud rats run. The Sunshine Coast Trail Run Festival is hosted in conjunction with the Sunshine Coast MTB Festival in an action packed weekend of off-road events for the entire family. The course takes you in and around Beerwah State Forest on the shores of Ewen Maddock Dam with the majority of the running on winding single track through ferny rainforest.

The Beach Film Screening
Come along for a free afternoon screening of The Beach. This film looks at the relationship Australians have with the beach. It explores how the beach has been depicted by our painters, writers, poets, filmmakers, choreographers and composers. It is an examination of what the beach means both to Australians and those who come from other countries to enjoy it. The film won the 2001 Outstanding Achievement Award from the International Electronic Cinema Festival, Chiba, Japan. The film was directed and produced by Don Featherstone and David Woodgate.
