Officeworks has celebrated the opening of its 167th Australian store.
The new office supply store on 264 Nicklin Way, Warana, was launched recently.
Families from the surrounding area joined staff to celebrate, with activities involving traditional land owners the Gubbi Gubbi troupe and local community groups SunnyKids and the Kawana Waters Surf Lifesaving Club.
“Our team is looking forward to building relationships with the local community, and we are delighted to be able to help grow local businesses and make bigger things happen,” Officeworks Warana Store Business Manager Cameron Foreman said.
“We are proud to offer great customer service with the widest range of products and everyday low prices.”

“This is a prominent location for our new store with plentiful car parks, multi-directional access and clear visibility.”
The Warana store is set to create 15 more jobs in the community and it will feature more than 14,000 products including a range of stationery, art and craft, education, technology, furniture and print and create services.
Officeworks launched its 2025 Positive Difference Plan in October, which includes commitments such as taking meaningful climate action by using 100% renewable energy by 2025 and planting 2 million trees.
This store features several sustainability initiatives, including being coated in heat reflective paint, solar panels and soon to be installed onsite battery storage.
Customers can shop a range of greener choice products, and recycle their unwanted products such as batteries, printers, laptops and pens and markers.
It’s the third Officeworks store on the Sunshine Coast, with others at Maroochydore and Noosville.
