Construction is set to start on a modern and stylish community club, in the heart of a growing area.

After more than five years of planning, The Bower Tree will be built in Sippy Downs.

The not-for-profit membership-based organisation, Boldbridge Group Ltd, has partnered with Queensland design and construction firm Paynters to develop the innovative venue, due to be completed in early 2023.

Brett Johnson, Managing Director of Paynters, said there would be short-term and long-term financial benefits.

“Over the coming 13 months of construction, approximately 100 direct jobs will be supported, including trades and other associated skilled workers,” he said.

“In addition to the jobs created, a major stimulus will be injected into the Sunshine Coast economy.”

There should be 100 jobs available during the venue’s construction.

Suzanne Long, CEO of Boldbridge Group Ltd, said the club should be popular.

“We are very excited to provide a new meeting place for people in the community to gather, dine and be entertained,” she said.

“The contemporary and open plan design will be an inviting place for locals and visitors alike to enjoy live music, a sophisticated wine bar, function room, meeting rooms, casual and á la carte dining.

A multimillion-dollar dining and entertainment venue will be built in Sippy Downs.

Boldbridge Group Ltd currently manages and operates Nambour RSL Club, with a membership of more than 20,000 people.

The club has successfully operated in Nambour for more than 65  years and has received numerous awards for its community giving, services, facilities and industry leadership.

Updates on the build will be regularly posted on the club’s social media pages, website and through member updates. See The Bower Tree for more.
