Coles has unveiled its new-look Maroochydore supermarket, which offers customers an unrivalled online experience to cater for anywhere, anytime shopping.

Ninety new local jobs have been created at the reinvigorated store, which will double their delivery and collection windows during the festive season.

Shoppers in Maroochydore and its surrounding suburbs will have the convenience of home delivery or a Click & Collect time-slot that suits them, making it even easier to shop for groceries.

The store will also offer access to Same Day Home Delivery and Coles’ popular Click & Collect Rapid, a premium service where customers are able to collect their groceries within 90 minutes after ordering.

Same Day Delivery orders can include up to 50 products excluding liquor, smoking/tobacco purchases and some bulk items.

Click & Collect Rapid is available at more than 400 Coles supermarkets nationally. Orders can include up to 40 products, excluding deli platters.

Additionally, one out of four Click & Collect car parks at Coles Maroochydore will be specially designated for Click & Collect Rapid order collection.

Coles Maroochydore store manager Brett Blanch said the team was excited to launch the super-charged shopping experience on the Sunshine Coast, giving customers more choice to shop when and how it suits them.

“Our customers are always at the forefront when it comes to creating shopping experiences that cater to local needs, and we’re so pleased to be able to offer the local community an even more convenient shopping experience with enhanced Click & Collect, Click & Collect Rapid and Home Delivery services — as well as some exciting new in-store features,” he said.

“With Christmas just around the corner, our customers will have the option to browse an enhanced range of convenience and entertaining options in our new-look supermarket, or simply shop for their groceries online and place an order to be picked up in-store or delivered straight to their kitchen bench.

“To keep up with customer demand, we will be adding four brand new Coles Online delivery trucks to the existing fleet, allowing us to reach an increased number of customers across a wider range of suburbs.

“Three of the delivery trucks have been named in honour of treasured team members who passed away unexpectedly this year.”

The reinvigorated supermarket also features a market-style fresh produce layout allowing customers more space to browse and shop for their fruit and vegetables, an open-style bakery with an extended range of fresh baked goods, and an in-store orange juicing station allowing customers to squeeze their own juice into conveniently sized bottles.

Coles Maroochydore is located at Sunshine Plaza, Maroochydore and is open 7am–9pm Monday to Saturday and 9am–6pm on Sunday.
