People, Plates & Places Easter Dining

People, Plates & Places believe life is about collecting moments, not things, and that a restaurant-without-walls dining experience in unique locations creates memories that last. Coolum Art Collective Easter Art Exhibition

The Coolum Art Collective presents its annual Easter Art Exhibition for 2022. Featured will be art and craft works from some of the Sunshine Coast’s leading artists and artisans, with more than 200 original artworks offered for sale, comprising both traditional and current styles.

When: Friday, April 15 to Sunday, April 17, 9am to 5pm.

Where: Coolum Civic Centre, 2-4 Park Street, Coolum Beach.

Romantic Illusions

Pacific Chamber Players’ second concert series for 2022 is an all-Romantic affair featuring works for woodwind and piano. From 1830 to 1900, music had a subjective focus with an emphasis on sound and the expression of one’s feelings. The ensemble’s program will include works by French, German and English composers such as the gorgeous Caprice Op 79 and Bassoon Sonata by Saint-Saëns. Joining Pacific Chamber Players will be mother and daughter flautists Sharelle and Jazzi Guest (pictured), performing François Doppler’s Andante and Rondo Op 25.

When: Sunday, May 8, 2pm.

Where: Palmwoods Memorial Hall, 1 Main Street, Palmwoods.

The Ultimate Challenge

Why not challenge yourself at one of the many adventurous offerings in the region. Head to Amaze World in Tanawha for the ultimate brain challenge. There’s an 80x80m living hedge maze to tackle as well as a rope maze, timber maze and tyre maze.
