A rapidly growing Sunshine Coast-based law firm has made another key appointment.

Travis Schultz & Partners has engaged Stephen Hughes as a senior lawyer.

Mr Hughes, who has been a Personal Injury Accredited Specialist since 1998, bringsĀ  experience in making a difference in the lives of people struggling through personal adversity.

He said he was driven to help clients feel optimistic and empowered while navigating their personal injury claim.

ā€œApart from achieving optimal financial settlements for my clients, what I love about my work is helping vulnerable people feel listened to, included and hopeful as we manoeuvre the legal process together,ā€ he said.

Travis Schultz & Partners Chief Operating Officer, Kelly Phelps, said Mr Hughesā€™ addition to their almost 40-strong team increased the breadth and value of the service the Queensland firms brings.

The firm’s team has grown significantly since it opened with just two lawyers and three support staff on the Sunshine Coast in 2018.

ā€œSecuring someone with so much experience in both personal injury and workplace relations law is a real credit to our firmā€™s reputation for being a great place to work,” Ms Phelps said.

“Iā€™m sure our clients and everyone at TSP, especially our rising stars, will benefit from having Stephen aboard.

ā€œAs well as being genuinely enthusiastic about compensation law, Stephen is a warm and generous person who clearly aligns with our guiding values of fairness, respect and compassion.

“We are thrilled to welcome him to our fast-growing team.”

Stephen Hughes has joined a fast-growing team.
