A growing Sydney brewing company has expanded on the Sunshine Coast, with the official opening of its venue in Noosa Junction.

The first beers at the new 4 Pines Noosa are now being poured, the result of a collaboration between local businessman Clayton Williams and the established Manly company.

The coastal-inspired venue features 12 taps of 4 Pines beers, a selection of wines, cocktails and spirits, and a full dining menu with pub classics and local seafood.

The pub is another addition to Mr Williams’ portfolio, alongside the successful Duporth Tavern Maroochydore and Commercial Hotel Nambour, as well as the SportsHub at Bokarina. The first 4 Pines on the Sunshine Coast opened at Mooloolaba in August.

An extended range of the well-known beer will be on offer.

“4 Pines have an impeccable reputation for creating great beers and a memorable hospitality experience and we look forward to a long and successful partnership based on our shared passions,” Mr Williams said.

“I have seen the exciting changes in Noosa Junction over the last 20 years having visited the area when some old friends operated the space. My brother also lives up on the hill, so it will be great to have him close by to support the new venue.”

The brewing company will collaborate with its local brew team to tap up the freshest beer in the area, including a rotating limited-release series.

He said customers could expect a laid-back venue with reclaimed furnishing, modern beer garden with banquette seats, and touchpoints to create a welcoming space for all occasions.

“I’m excited to bring this space to life and even find some time between beers to catch a wave with my sons. We often strap down the boards and travel 35 mins up the coast from our home to steal a few waves when the point’s working,” Mr Williams said.

The new pub has a coastal vibe.

“The focus for us is to bring a fresh, affordable and welcoming offering and space to Noosa Junction. We will also look to bring a local entertainment schedule and a sports-focused offering.”

The brewers behind the company opened their first brewpub in Manly more than 14 years ago and have continued to share their passion for hospitality, good beer and the local community.

Hospitality general manager Adam Dearing said 4 Pines was born out of a small brewpub in Manly in Sydney.

The new pub offers a full menu and will have events like Live in the Pines until late.

“An idea following a casual conversation between father and son, post-surf in search of good beer, has now created a hospitality portfolio that continues to welcome beer lovers across the east coast,” Mr Dearing said.

“4 Pines has grown significantly since launching in Manly over a decade ago and we’ve had our eye out for the perfect Noosa location for a few years now.

“This collaboration with Clayton Williams is a perfect fit  …  to continue our story and connect with the local community.”

The new 4 Pines Noosa will be shouting the bar and snacks from 5-7pm this evening with neighbours, families and fur-children all welcome.
