A celebrity TV couple who recently welcomed a baby have purchased a home in the Noosa hinterland.

Former Bachelorette and Home and Away star Sam Frost and partner Jordie Hansen, who appeared twice on Australian Survivor, bought a four-bedroom home at Doonan, in the Noosa hinterland, last weekend.

The couple, who welcomed baby Ted earlier this year, were one of three registered bidders for the property, which was sold at auction for $1.185 million.

Set on more than two acres in a quiet cul-de-sac, the property has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a double garage, plus space for a further five vehicles.

The celebrity couple will be able to enjoy a full-length front verandah, large rear timber deck, raked timber lined cathedral ceilings, open-plan living and dining areas, and powered shed.

The home is described as absolutely private and has had the same owners for almost 30 years.

The agent was Lindy McAskill and auctioneer was principal Justin Sykes, both from Ray White Noosa River.

“Located in the verdant rolling hills of Doonan in the Noosa hinterland, positioned between the historic township of Eumundi – famous for its bi-weekly markets – and Noosa, 15 minutes to the river and 20 minutes to the main beach, this is an idyllic location offering the best of both worlds from country to the coast,” the listing said.

“Offered to the market for the first time since 1996, this is a veritable haven of natural delight; with a comfortable, functional home with a welcoming ambience and charm, surrounded by stunning gardens filled with birdlife, butterflies and bees – all things bright and beautiful, it’s thoroughly enchanting.”
