Sunday, December 3, 7.50am: A stable male patient was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with minor injuries following a single-vehicle rollover on Cumberland Way and Glen Kyle Drive, Buderim, at 9.32pm last night.
Saturday, December 2, 5.55pm: An RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a man to hospital after fell into a large hole and was buried in sand at North Bribie Island this afternoon.
The Sunshine Coast-based chopper was tasked to the incident on the north-east side of the island just after 2pm.
The pilot landed on the beach to deliver the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service flight paramedic as close to the scene as possible.
The aeromedical crew joined QAS paramedics, Queensland Police Service and Queensland Fire and Emergency Service officers who had responded to the incident.
Emergency service personnel worked together to transfer the injured man, who is aged in his 20s, to the rescue helicopter.
He was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
Saturday, December 2, 3.30pm: Paramedics and a rescue helicopter were treating a patient after they were reportedly buried in sand at a beach at North Bribie Island at 1.54pm.
Saturday, December 2, 7.30am: Paramedics transported a stable patient to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after they fell from a bicycle on Eenie Creek Road, Noosa Heads, at 9.42am.
Saturday, December 2, 7.30am: More than 1400 customers were without power across the Coast. The majority of those affected are in Glass House Mountains and Beerwah. The cause was listed on Energex’s website as “damage due to severe weather”.
Friday, December 1, 2.35pm: Paramedics transported one patient to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition after a vehicle fire at Landsborough at 12.17pm.
Friday, December 1, 11.45am: A vehicle and motorcycle crash was reported on Kilcoy Beerwah Road, Stanmore, at 9.35am. A patient was airlifted in a serious condition to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital following the crash.
Friday, December 1, 6.45am: Police are continuing to investigate after the discovery of a man’s body in the Maroochy River at Maroochydore yesterday.
At 8.30am officers were called to the site under the Sunshine Motorway Bridge and are now working to confirm the man’s identity.
While police have not received any missing persons reports for the area, they are asking the local community to check on family members.
The man is believed to be aged in his late 40s to late 50s and was wearing black shorts and a dark t-shirt. He has a solid build and was wearing elastic knee supports on both knees.
Police are conducting investigations to ascertain the identity of the man to establish the circumstances in which he was located.
Police are investigating to determine the cause of death, which will not be known until post mortem examinations are conducted over the coming days.

Thursday, November 30, 12.30pm: A vehicle and cyclist incident was reported on Seaside Boulevard and David Low Way, Marcoola, at 7.51am. Paramedics transported one patient stable to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Thursday, November 30, 10.15am: Police have suspended the search for a 43-year-old Glass House Mountains man missing in waters off the Sunshine Coast since Sunday.
An extensive search and rescue operation continued for three days after the man failed to return from a solo fishing trip.
His vessel was located abandoned about two nautical miles off Comboyuro Point at the northern end of Moreton Island on Monday, but all subsequent search efforts have failed to locate the skipper.
Aerial searching was suspended on Tuesday afternoon.
Sunshine Coast District search and rescue coordinator Senior Constable Murray Lyons said the outcome was heart-breaking for the family of the missing man.
“Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to locate the man and bring him home to his loved ones,” he said.
“We have liaised closely with his family and discussed the sad news regarding the likelihood of survival; they have asked for privacy during this difficult time.”
The missing man’s family and the Queensland Police Service acknowledged the contribution of all those involved in the search, including volunteers and the community.

Thursday, November 30, 7.15am: Paramedics transported a woman in her 40s in a stable condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a reported snake bite at a private residence at Mudjimba at 7.30pm last night.

Wednesday, November 29, 5.10am: The search and rescue operation for a Glass House Mountains man missing in waters off the Sunshine Coast since Sunday has been scaled back.
The 43-year-old was reported missing by his family after he failed to return from a solo fishing trip.
Police and emergency services launched a wide-ranging surface and aerial search on Monday, involving multiple aircraft and vessels, when the man’s boat was located abandoned about two nautical miles off Comboyuro Point at the northern end of Moreton Island.
Subsequent search efforts have failed to locate the man.
Police today have scaled back their operation, with officers and volunteers focusing on the foreshore along Bribie Island and eastern Moreton Island.
Sunshine Coast Water Police have praised the efforts of everyone involved in the search, and are appealing to the boating community to remain vigilant and to report any sightings or information to police immediately.
Tuesday, November 28, 4pm: A patient in a stable condition was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Doonan Bridge Road East, Verrierdale, at 2.29pm.
Tuesday, November 28, 8.40am: Police are investigating a robbery with violence at a house on Burys Road, Beerwah, about 11.30pm last night.
Initial investigations indicate four males smashed their way into the house via a glass door, while armed with baseball bats and a gun.
They made threats to two occupants of the home before striking the male victim on the arm with a bat, then stealing a quantity of personal items and fleeing the scene.
The 75-year-old man suffered injuries to his arm during the incident.

Monday, November 27, 11.30am: The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has joined the multi-agency search for a fisherman who is missing in waters off the Sunshine Coast.
The man was reported missing by his wife yesterday after he failed to return from a fishing trip.
The rescue chopper was tasked by the Queensland Police Service last night about 8.30pm but he was not located.
The chopper crew was tasked to join the search again about 8am after QPS located his boat about two nautical miles off Comboyuro Point, Moreton Island.
The rescue chopper then commenced an aerial search between Moreton Island and the Sunshine Coast.
The search effort is ongoing.
Monday, November 27, 9.20am: Water police are continuing to search for a man missing in waters off the Sunshine Coast.
The local man, aged in his 40s, failed to return from a fishing trip yesterday. The man had launched the boat at Mooloolaba boat ramp yesterday morning.
He was scheduled to return about 3pm and a search commenced last night after his family raised the alarm.
The man was fishing unaccompanied in waters of Mooloolaba in his Cruise Craft Regal 2000. The boat was located this morning about two nautical miles off Comboyuro Point on Moreton Island.
The man has not been located and a water and aerial search is continuing.
Sunday, November 26, 6.15pm: Two stable patients were transported to Nambour Hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Howard Street, Nambour, at 4.27pm.
Sunday, November 26, 1.15pm: An 82-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash at Ridgewood, west of Cooroy.
Initial investigations indicate a motorcycle was travelling on Skyring Creek Road near the intersection of Cooroy Belli Creek Road at 11.15am when it left the road and crashed into a fence.
The rider, a Maroochydore man, died at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
