A giant Mediterranean-style mansion dubbed the ‘White House’ is set to go under the hammer next month.

No.432 Wilson Road at Tanawha is expected to attract significant interest from big spenders due to its grandeur and location.

The seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom, 15-garage property is on 7100sqm and within 15 minutes’ drive of the beach.

Ray White Buderim chief auctioneer and sales consultant Jake Loiero said the house was monumental.

“The sheer size of the home is something that takes your breath away,” he said.

“Everything is basically built to epic proportions, but it’s still compact enough that it’s got family living in mind.”

The property is called ‘Casa Blanca’, a Spanish term for ‘White House’, which is what it was named after.

No.432 Wilson Road is secluded but just minutes from the beach and businesses.

“It’s very presidential,” Mr Loiero said.

It’s not known who designed and built the house but Mr Loiero said they had crafted a building of substance and style.

“They have managed to weave in a very modern feel with a very classic style,” Mr Loiero said.

“It feels new and everything is high quality, but it’s still got that that classic Mediterranean style.”

He said the home’s European flavour was enhanced by “the terracotta and the quality of construction”.

“The home is built like they don’t build them anymore: solid as a rock, all concrete, all block, all rendered,” he said.

The estate is spacious but secluded.

“It’s super private and it has ocean views and acreage, which you just don’t find,” Mr Loiero said.

“It’s extremely quiet and tranquil but it’s only 10 to 15 minutes away from the Plaza, the new CBD and most of the beaches between Maroochydore and Kawana.

“Brisbane Airport is about 55 minutes away.”

He said the current owners were set to move south and the property was suited to another family “or someone looking for an effortless Mediterranean style”.

The auction will be held on March 2, with inspections on Wednesday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, a ‘yellow house’ at nearby Buderim, set on 1108sqm, was recently sold at auction for $4.6 million.

The colours and character of the Mediterranean can be seen at No.432 Wilson Road.
