The question of how to invigorate the region’s night-time economy has been put under the microscope at a Meet the Mayoral Candidates forum.
Each of the six mayoral candidates for Sunshine Coast Council was asked ‘What is your strategy for ensuring the Sunshine Coast develops a strong events, attractions and nightlife scene?’ at the event, which was a partnership between Caloundra Chamber of Commerce, Sunshine Coast News and My Weekly Preview.

It comes after a lack of transport, financial pressures and changes in consumer behaviour were identified among the challenges in a report prepared by the University the Sunshine Coast.
