Sunday, March 24, 2.50pm: Police divers have located a body after a search operation was launched for a man who failed to resurface when he jumped into the water at Noosa Parade at Noosa Heads early this morning.
Officers were called to the Noosa Sound bridge just after 1am following reports a man jumped from a ledge and failed to resurface.
A search and rescue operation was launched, with police divers locating the body of the man around 6am.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.

Thursday, March 21, 1.55pm: Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 30-year-old man missing from Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast since Tuesday, March 19.
Marcus Watters, pictured, was last seen on Featherwood Crescent at about 7pm, and has not been seen or heard from since. Police have serious concerns for his welfare as he has a disability, and his disappearance is out of character.
Marcus is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 185cm tall, with a proportionate build, red-brown hair and brown eyes. He also has a distinctive scar above his left eyebrow.
Police are appealing to Marcus, or anyone with information about his whereabouts, to come forward.

Thursday, March 21, 8am: More than 1000 properties around the Caloundra CBD and Kings Beach lost power at about 2.15am, due an electrical pole fire on Arthur Street. Power has since been restored to the majority of the properties, with the remainder expected to come back on by about 9am.
Thursday, March 21, 7.05am: Three patients were assessed in stable conditions, with one requiring transport to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, after a three-vehicle crash on Steve Irwin Way, Landsborough, at 9.04pm last night.

Wednesday, March 20, 4.10pm: Sunshine Coast Police are warning the community to be aware of bitumen scammers.
Bitumen scammers use high-pressure sales techniques to convince their victims to employ them to reseal their driveways.
The scammers often use fake identification and will not be part of a legitimate business. Scammers will either demand payment upfront and then refuse to do the work or complete the work to a very poor quality and use threats and intimidation to obtain payment.

Tuesday, March 19, 6.40pm: Three people were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a bus and vehicle crash on Mooloolah Road at Eudlo at 4.12pm. They included a 40-year-old man with bruises, a 13-year-old with abdominal pain and an 11-year-old with chest pain. They were from the same vehicle.
Tuesday, March 19, 8.40am: Paramedics transported one patient to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition after a three-vehicle crash on the Sunshine Motorway on ramp and Kawana Way at Sippy Downs at 7.46am.
