A new Mediterranean-inspired property has been labelled ‘one of a kind’ on the Sunshine Coast, amid an influx of interest from potential buyers.

No.14 Kerenjon Avenue at Buderim enticed more than 50 groups to its initial open house last weekend and attracted the attention of people from interstate and overseas.

The five-bedroom, three-bathroom, three-car-space property, on 865sqm, has raised eyebrows with its European style and sophistication.

The home is being sold via Sofia Zanone and Chris Rothureau, from Stack & Co Property.

Ms Zanone said the residence was “different” to any other in the region.

“It’s one of the Sunshine Coast’s most impressive homes,” she said.

“It is a one-of-a-kind property. The Sunshine Coast hasn’t seen anything like it before.

“It’s definitely a ‘wow’ property that is attracting buyers, as well as people who are looking for inspiration, like local builders and renovators.”

The property, dubbed ‘Casa Kerenjon’, is on a north-facing hillside with views.

The two-level house boasts signature archways, textured stonework, high ceilings, fluted cabinetry and an American oak timber staircase.

Extras include a swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, firepit, butler’s pantry, state-of-the-art cinema, beauty space and security camera system.

Ms Zanone said she was awestruck by the residence.

“The house is filled with different textures – the rendering around the house, the stonework around the garage and pool, the custom wall niches and the colour schemes,” she said.

“When you go inside you feel like you’re on the Amalfi Coast in Italy and when you go up the stairs you kind of feel like you’re in Santorini in Greece.

Stylish design and colours, and sweeping views, from No.14 Kerenjon Avenue.

“It’s got that real European feel.

“The architecture is just stunning.

“And it’s on trend, with the archways and colour schemes. Gone are the days with the grey in homes.”

She said a range of prospective buyers attended the first open house.

“There were lots of professional couples, and some families with grown-up kids and some people looking to downsize from an acreage,” she said.

She said it was hard to put a dollar figure on the property because of its uniqueness.

“We’re collating feedback on a price guide,” she said.

“It’s sale by negotiation and we’re looking at offers and terms.”

Another inspection will be held on Wednesday from 5pm to 5.30pm, with another on Saturday at a time to be determined. Private inspections are also available.
