Friday, May 17, 6.10am: It should be a sunny weekend on the Sunshine Coast. The BOM predicts showers on Friday before a fine weekend, when there should be just a slight chance of a shower with temperatures ranging between 12 to 22 degrees Celsius with light to 20kmh winds.
Thursday, May 16, 12.30pm: Paramedics were assessing a patient following a vehicle and bicycle crash on Gibson Road and Eumundi Noosa Road at Noosaville at 11.40am.
One patient was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition after the incident.
Thursday, May 16, 11.10am: A patient in a stable condition was transported to Nambour Hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Ann Street, Nambour, at 10.15am.
Thursday, May 16, 7.25am: A stable patient was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a truck and vehicle crash on Beerburrum Road and Steve Irwin Way at Beerburrum at 3.48pm yesterday.
Wednesday, May 15, 2pm: A man in a stable condition has been airlifted to hospital by a rescue helicopter after an incident with a mower at a private property at Reesville, west of Maleny.
The RACQ LifeFlight Sunshine Coast Rescue helicopter crew airlifted the man this afternoon after the mower he was operating rolled.
The aeromedical crew was tasked to the property about 1pm and was able to land the chopper on a nearby road.
The crew worked with Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics to treat the man for arm and leg injuries.
The man, aged in his 70s, was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
It was the second rescue mission today for the Sunshine Coast crew after earlier airlifting a man injured in a car accident in the Bundaberg region.
Tuesday, May 14, 11.05am: Two stable patients were transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Brightwater Boulevard and Kawana Way at Mountain Creek at 8.50am.
Tuesday, May 14, 8.25am: A stable patient was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a fall from a bicycle into a parked truck on Oceanic Drive and Wyanda Drive at Bokarina at 6.31am.
Monday, May 13, 4.05pm: A 39-year-old male police officer has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service.
The Senior Constable has been issued a Notice To Appear for one count each of Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm, Deprivation of Liberty, relating to an alleged incident that occurred whilst off-duty.
He is due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on May 16.
Monday, May 13, 8.45am: A stable patient was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a bicycle and bus incident on Mudjimba Beach Road and Mudjimba Esplanade at Mudjimba at 7.29am.
Monday, May 13, 7.15am: A stable female was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with facial injuries following a single-vehicle rollover on Karawatha Street and Dixon Road at Buderim at 2.45am.

Sunday, May 12, 1pm: One stable patient with a leg injury was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a motorcycle crash on Gold Creek Road, Eerwah Vale, at 9.22am.
Sunday, May 12, 7am: One stable patient was transported to Nambour Hospital and one stable patient was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Saint Andrews Drive, Tewantin, at 5.59pm yesterday.
