Friday, August 16, 12.05pm: Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 31-year-old man missing from a facility on Doherty Street, Birtinya since August 4.
Marcus Watters, pictured, is Caucasian in appearance, about 175cm tall, with a proportionate build, and brown hair.
Police have serious concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition and is easily disorientated. He also does not have access to the medication he needs.
He was last seen in Mooloolaba on August 9, wearing a grey hoodie, grey tracksuit and black slides.
Police are appealing to Marcus, or anyone with information about his whereabouts, to come forward.

Several roads are closed around the region due to flooding, including Colemans and Vee at Yandina, Old Gympie at Mooloolah Valley and Pryor at Verrierdale.
Wednesday, August 14, 6.20am: One stable male patient in his teens with neck and back pain was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a single-vehicle crash into a fence on Toolborough Road, Yandina Creek, at 6.19pm last night.

Tuesday, August 13, 1.30pm: Coastal Hazard, Hazardous Surf and Strong Wind warnings have been issued for Sunshine Coast waters for Tuesday and Wednesday.
A trough near the central Queensland coast is combining with a high pressure system in the Tasman Sea to generate strong easterly winds and large waves.
Damaging surf conditions, which may lead to beach erosion, are forecast to develop about the warning area from Tuesday morning and continue on Wednesday.
Locations which may be affected include east-facing beaches like Noosa Heads and Maroochydore.
Surf and swell conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, boating, and swimming.
The warnings follow a Flood Watch, issued on Monday.

Monday, August 12, 6.35am: A Flood Watch has been issued for South-East Queensland coastal catchments.
Isolated minor flooding is possible across parts of the flood watch area from Monday. Moderate to locally heavy rainfall is possible from Monday until Wednesday, easing on Thursday.
There is a significant uncertainty in the timing and location of the rainfall, although the coast and adjacent ranges are most likely to see the heaviest falls.
Catchments likely to be affected include the Mary River, Noosa River and Sunshine Coast rivers and creeks.
The BOM forecast is for 10 to 35mm on Monday, 5 to 25mm on Tuesday and 5 to 40mm on Wednesday and 0 to 10mm on Thursday.
