A popular attraction that has welcomed about 750,000 visitors since opening has marked its 10th birthday.

The Big Boing Indoor Trampoline Park has become a beloved destination for locals and visitors, featuring more than 50 interconnecting trampolines, a ninja course, a dedicated junior area, birthday party catering and cafe.

The Birtinya venue has navigated through challenging economic times and the global pandemic since opening in 2014, currently employing 38 team members.

It has also supported local initiatives such as the Balin Stewart Foundation, Sunshine Coast Lightning, Wishlist, Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge (SCARS) and endED.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from our community over the past 10 years,” owner Cathy Morrison said.

“Our journey has been filled with both challenges and triumphs, and we’re excited to celebrate this milestone with our team and the Sunshine Coast community.

“Here’s to another decade of bouncing, laughter and community engagement.”

The milestone was marked with a day of celebrations, with Sunshine Coast mayor Rosanna Natoli helping to cut a birthday cake.

“Hundreds of thousands of people have bounced their way into the Big Boing over the past decade and they include families, friends, work colleagues and couples on dates,’’ Cr Natoli said.

“This has created many unforgettable memories and enjoyment for so many in our community, as well as visitors.

“We congratulate this inspirational business on its milestone and can’t wait to see what the next 10 years bring.’’
