A Sunshine Coast-based ICT solutions business has formed a $2 million strategic partnership with one of Australia’s leading providers of private day hospital facilities.
Entag, which has its headquarters in Birtinya, has secured the three-year deal with Brisbane-based Cura Day Hospitals Group, which operates 30 sites around the country.
The deal follows the recent $500 million-plus acquisition of Cura Day Hospitals Group by global asset management firm Intermediate Capital Group to support the group’s national growth strategy.
Entag will deploy a next-generation security network for Cura, spearheading the deployment and management of the project.
“We are excited to partner with Cura Day Hospitals Group in deploying state-of-the-art technology solutions that will empower their operations and ensure seamless connectivity,” Entag’s chief executive officer Kris Carver said.
“We hosted several workshops with the Cura team to identify the business drivers that led to this network upgrade.”
Mr Carver said that, given the rapid expansion of both healthcare and technology sectors, the collaboration was poised to generate significant employment opportunities.
“We anticipate up to 100 individuals within Entag alone being involved in this endeavour, with potential for further organic growth as the partnership flourishes over the next three years,” he said.
“It’s exciting to see how this contract not only fosters business growth but also contributes positively to the local job market.”
Cura Day Hospitals Group chief information officer Charl Ingram said the partnership marked a significant step forward in bolstering network security and productivity.
“This strategic partnership underscores our dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions that prioritise the security and efficiency of our network across the 30 sites we operate across all states and territories in Australia,” Mr Ingram said.
“Cura Day Hospitals Group’s extensive network makes this collaboration pivotal in enhancing visibility, control and security across its operations.”
