UPDATE: Two teenagers have died at a waterfall on the Sunshine Coast.
A 17-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were located deceased at Wappa Falls near Yandina on Sunday, after police conducted a search and rescue operation.
Emergency services initially responded to reports a girl fell off a waterfall and failed to resurface at about 2.30pm on Sunday.
The boy reportedly jumped into the water to help but also failed to resurface.
Queensland Fire Department and police divers started a search and rescue operation at about 2.50pm.
The girl was located deceased, in the water, by emergency services at about 3.30pm.
The boy was located deceased, in the water, by police divers, at about 7.25pm.
Police will prepare reports for the coroner for them.
Wappa Falls remained closed on Sunday night as investigations continued.
