The creative team behind some of Noosa’s most popular eateries has added a new venture, opening a pizzeria and bar on the former site of a well-known restaurant.
The new restaurant comes from the Belmondos Group, the hospitality team behind establishments such as El Capitano, Dona Cocina Mexicana and Mahi Mahi.
Delilah opened just before Christmas in the same space where the popular Pitchfork restaurant was at Peregian Beach.
A spokesperson for the Belmondos Group said Delilah aimed to bring people together over food and drinks.
“The Belmondos Group has been shaping the Sunshine Coast’s hospitality scene for decades, bringing unique, memorable dining experiences to locals and visitors alike,” they said.
“At Delilah, we want diners to feel a genuine connection – not just to the food but to the space and the people around them.
“We hope the vibrant colours, the warmth of the firewood oven and the friendly atmosphere make people feel at ease – like they’ve found their local spot.”
The spokesperson said the menu was rooted in simplicity and quality.
“We use organic Australian flour to create our signature sourdough base, which ferments for three days to achieve its unique flavour and texture,” they said.
“Every pizza is wood-fired in our domed oven, giving it that unmistakable crispness and aroma.

“The menu features classic flavours with contemporary twists, and the same care goes into our drinks list.
“Our cocktails are a mix of timeless favourites infused with a distinctive Sunshine Coast flair, while our wine selection includes top Australian and international vineyards, focusing on minimal intervention, organic and biodynamic wines wherever possible.”
The spokesperson said the “remarkably quick” journey from concept to opening took just months, and had completely reimagined the former Pitchfork space.
“The fit-out is a contemporary take on well-loved Aussie spaces, like old pubs, with a nod to mid-century style,” they said.
“We chose a bold colour palette featuring rosso red tones and blue furnishings, creating a vibrant, modern atmosphere that feels both familiar and new.
“The space is designed to feel warm and welcoming, with thoughtful details that make it equally suited to a casual lunch or an intimate dinner.
“It also features a spacious outdoor dining area in the square, making it perfect for families and those wanting to enjoy the coastal breeze.”
Delilah – which takes its name from the phrase “dial-a-pizza” – employs around 15 staff, many of whom are local.
“We want diners to leave feeling satisfied, welcomed and excited to return,” the spokesperson said.
Delilah is at 5/4 Kingfisher Drive, Peregian Beach. It is open daily for dinner and Friday to Sunday for lunch.
