A woman has been airlifted to hospital after she tripped and fell in a forest on Sunday.
The woman in her 30s was running in the Glass House Mountains National Park near Beerburrum when she stumbled.
A Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew was tasked to the scene, along the Yul-yan-man track, about 9.45am.
A Queensland Ambulance Service flight paramedic and LifeFlight rescue crewman were winched down to the woman.
They were winched back to the helicopter and the patient was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with significant leg injuries.
