The construction of a multi-level block that includes a boutique collection of residences has reached a key stage.
Ocean Rise Kings Beach has just ‘topped out’, with builders reaching its highest point.
The structure, with seven residential floors and two parking levels, at 48 King Street is being developed by DCO Developments and brought to life by Timit Building with architectural design by OGE Group.
DCO Developments director and long-term local Daniel O’Neil said the building, with 14 apartments, offered sophisticated living without compromising the character of the area.
“There’s a growing need for thoughtful, higher-density living options that enhance our coastal communities, rather than overpower them,” he said.

“Ocean Rise shows that it’s possible to deliver premium, spacious homes in exceptional locations without the Sunshine Coast becoming the next Gold Coast.”
With views from Bribie Island to Moreton Island and Point Cartwright, Ocean Rise features three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments with balconies.
A limited number of residences remain, priced from $1.55 million.
The topping out of the building signalled the final stages of the main construction phase, which is expected to be completed later this year.

“Reaching this point is a proud moment for the entire team,” Mr O’Neil said.
“We’re creating homes that people are excited to live in, not just for the views but for the lifestyle and long-term value.”
OGE Group director John Robertson said Ocean Rise was an example of how the Sunshine Coast could evolve through intelligent development.
“With increasing pressure on housing and a strong desire from more people to relocate here, we need more projects like Ocean Rise that deliver quality homes within existing neighbourhoods,” he said.
“It’s about striking the balance between density and design, so we grow in a way that’s sustainable, beautiful and genuinely reflects the Sunshine Coast way of life.”
