Two people who bought Oz Lotto tickets at Noosa and Bribie Island are among a syndicate of 15 Queenslanders to share $70 million.
Members of the group will pocket more than $4.7 million each, after they held the only division one winning entry nationally in draw 1626, drawn on Tuesday.
Unknown to each other, they purchased their shares at 15 Golden Casket outlets across the state.
One winning ticket was purchased at Noosa Village News in Noosaville, while another was bought at Nextra Bribie Island.
The latter was stunned to hear he had won, after he received a phone call from a representative from The Lott.
“I was just asleep. Bloody hell,” the man said.
“Oh my god, that’s so good.
“This changes our lives. We’ve been trying to get our first home so this will do that.
“Unbelievable. My heart is racing.”
