Construction is starting on Stockland’s latest premium beachside homes in Kombi St at Bokarina Beach.
This follows the market launch in September, which saw the 44 stylish townhomes sell out in record time for between $439,000 and $839,000, showing a clear demand for low-maintenance living on the Sunshine Coast.
The townhomes are designed by Hollindale Mainwaring Architecture, to invoke a sense of 60s’ beach shack nostalgia.
Pastel colours, lightweight cladding and a modern interpretation of the white picket fence are at the forefront of the design.
Featuring clever open plan designs, with flow of indoor/outdoor living, high ceilings, generous glazing and use of clerestory windows, the homes will be flooded with natural light and capture prevailing breezes.

Matt Patullo, Senior Development Manager at Stockland, said the rapid sell-out of Kombi Street was not a surprise as it was located in a highly sought-after coastal community.
“With these beautiful new homes taking pride of place within a brand new master planned community in such an enviable location, together with being one of the last beachside parcels of land in the region, Bokarina Beach really is a unique opportunity that can’t be repeated,” he said.
“The Kombi Street Beach Homes release saw huge buyer interest and as a result we are fast tracking future releases at Bokarina Beach, with the next stage to be announced later this year.”
Set on 30 hectares, Bokarina Beach is a premium mixed-use residential, retail and community hub planned to become home for approximately 2000 people.
Leading construction company McNab is the key partner in delivering the development.
All 44 homes are expected to be completedby mid-2022.
Boost to local economy
McNab Sunshine Coast General Manager Carl Nancarrow said construction on the boutique terrace homes would see a significant injection into the Sunshine Coast economy.
“The Kombi Street Beach Homes will generate a wealth of job opportunities for locals, with over 100 of workers expected to be on-site at the peak of construction” Mr Nancarrow said.
Just 12km up the road, work is also set to commence on Stage 2 of the popular Baringa Townhomes at Stockland’s Aura.
Designed by local award winning architects OGE Group, the next stage of construction will see BA Murphy Construction break ground on the first 23 HomeBuilder-eligible homes, with these townhomes now selling from $399,000.
