A Sunshine Coast business has been recognised with a coveted national industry award.

Maroochydore-based Yield Advisory was acknowledged as the Boutique Firm of the Year at the Australian Accounting Awards in Sydney.

Yield Advisory managing director Lachlan Ballinger attended the awards ceremony with some of his team members and said the achievement was a testament to their hard work, dedication and expertise.

“We couldn’t be prouder of this recognition and the positive impact this award reflects on our many clients and the accounting industry as a whole,” he said.

“It’s also a great reflection on how a regionally based accountancy firm can successfully compete with the absolute best from across Australia.

“Winning this award highlights our commitment to delivering exceptional services and innovative solutions that help our clients thrive.

“It reinforces our unwavering passion for providing tailored financial advice, strategic planning, and sound business solutions.”

Yield Advisory was established nine years ago from the dining table of Lachlan and his wife Hayley’s home in north Brisbane and the firm prides itself on providing top-tier service as well as being early adopters of cloud-based software, remote working and paperless systems.

Team members from Yield Advisory made the trip to Sydney.

The multi-award-winning business now employs up to 30 team members across its Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Sydney offices, with further plans to grow.

“We have a tremendous client base who place a lot of trust in the expertise of our team, their ongoing support enables us to play a critical role in their business and personal journey towards financial success,” he said.

“It is truly humbling to be recognised among the best in the industry, and we are unwavering in our commitment to the accounting industry. Our team is committed to strive for excellence in all we do by constantly pushing boundaries and delivering outstanding results for our clients.”
