Sunday, October 15, 1.10pm: Paramedics transported a patient to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition after a single-vehicle crash into a tree on Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba, at 11.58am.

Saturday, October 14, 7am: A stable male patient was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with minor injuries following a motorcycle crash on Lacey Lane, Yandina, at 10.45pm last night.

Friday, October 13, 1.50pm: Two patients in stable conditions were transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a two-vehicle crash, which involved a rollover, on the Bruce Highway southbound at Glass House Mountains at 12.50pm. Traffic was impacted.

Friday, October 13, 8.40am: Paramedics transported one patient stable to Gympie Hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway at Federal at 7.26am.

Friday, October 13, 5.45am: The temperature is set to surpass 30ºC at Maroochydore for the first time in more than three months, on Friday. It should reach 31ºC, with the slight chance of a thunderstorm later in the day.

There should be more comfortable conditions during the weekend: partly cloudy on Saturday and sunny on Sunday, with temperatures ranging from 14ºC to 29ºC and light NE winds.

Temperatures should reach 31ºC again on Monday before it cools during the week.

Thursday, October 12, 6pm: The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a male motorbike rider to hospital after a collision between a car and a motorcycle.

The incident occurred on a highway in the South Burnett region. The chopper was tasked at about 1.30pm and the pilot landed the aircraft at a site nearby.

Local paramedics treated the patient before transferring him into the care of the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and a QAS Flight Paramedic.

The man, aged in his 50s, suffered injuries to his limbs and was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.

Thursday, October 12, 6pm: A person was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, in a stable condition, following a motorcycle crash on Mapleton Road at Kureelpa at 12.43pm.

Thursday, October 12, 2.35pm: Sunshine Coast Police have charged a man with an additional offence after a 12-year-old boy died from injuries sustained in a crash at Bli Bli on September 3.

The 27-year-old Bli Bli man was initially served a notice to appear for drink-driving after allegedly returning a reading of 0.069.

The Forensic Crash Unit has further charged him with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

He is still due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on October 30.

Thursday, October 12, 5.30am: One patient was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition following a crash on Weyba Road, Noosaville, at 4.10pm yesterday.

Wednesday, October 11, 4.30pm: Paramedics attended a near-drowning incident after three patients got caught in a rip in the water off Park Road, Noosa Heads, at 2.40pm. All three patients were transported in stable conditions to Nambour Hospital.

Wednesday, October 11, 2.20pm: Four stable patients have been transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the Sunshine Motorway at Marcoola at 1.22pm.

Wednesday, October 11, 1.35pm: A stable patient was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a suspected snake bite at a private residence at Mountain Creek at 12.44pm.

Wednesday, October 11, 7.25am: A person was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, in a stable condition, following a two-vehicle crash on Evans Street at Maroochydore at 10.26pm last night.

Wednesday, October 11, 7.25am: A male teenager with a hip injury was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, in a stable condition, following a single-vehicle crash on the corner of Daniel Street and Mitchell Street at Nambour at 7.30pm last night.

Tuesday, October 10, 5.15pm: One patient was transported to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition following a four-vehicle crash on David Low Way, Diddillibah, at 3.28pm. Three other occupants were uninjured.

Tuesday, October 10, 7am: A man was transported to Noosa Hospital in a critical condition with head injuries following a vehicle and motorcycle crash on Venture Drive and Eumundi Noosa Road, Noosaville, at 5.35pm. He was subsequently airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital by rescue helicopter.

Monday, October 9, 4.55pm: Four patients were transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in stable conditions after a three-vehicle crash on the Sunshine Motorway southbound at Pacific Paradise at 3.52pm.

Monday, October 9, 4.20pm: Paramedics transported a person to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, in a stable condition, following a two-vehicle crash on the Sunshine Motorway southbound at Mountain Creek at 3.08pm. Traffic was impacted.

Monday, October 9, 12.35pm: A stable patient was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Apps Road, Maroochy River, at 11.06am.

Sunday, October 8, 6pm: A person was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, in a stable condition, following a fall from a motorcycle on Sunday Creek Road at Kenilworth at 1.14pm.

Sunday, October 8, 2.15pm: Police have located safe a 67-year-old man reported missing from Beerwah.

Sunday, October 8, 11.45am: One person was assessed by paramedics after a motorcycle crash on Ballinger Road at Buderim at 9.03am. The patient had minor grazes and declined further treatment or transport. 

Sunday, October 8, 7am: A man in his 30s, with chest and abdominal pain,  was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, in a stable condition, following a motorcycle crash on the corner of Memorial Drive and Arundell Street at Eumundi at 6.08am.
