The first residents have started moving into a newly completed seven-storey residential apartment block in a high-profile waterfront location.

Featuring 94 apartments, the $67 million Reflection Cove is the fourth and final residential stage of the Emporio masterplan in Maroochydore.

The development connects to the neighbouring Sunshine Cove via lakefront boardwalks, walking tracks and parklands, and is close to Sunshine Plaza and the emerging Maroochydore city centre.

It features 70 two-bedroom apartments, 23 three-bedroom apartments and a one-bedroom apartment, plus two commercial spaces and a pool. Seven of the 94 apartments remain for sale.

The project was designed by Cottee Parker and built by the privately owned RCQ, which was founded on the Coast in 1987, for the Sydney-based Twynam Investments. It is being marketed by RCQ and Belle Property Maroochydore.

RCQ sales executive Sharna Grand-Court said the build went smoothly but buyers had faced some slight delays.

“The construction component of it was great, and it was completed on time,” she said.

The development includes a new waterfront pool.

“The delay that we’ve had recently was an administrative delay, and land titles took a little bit longer than expected.

“It has been wonderful to start welcoming excited owners in over the past week, who are all delighted with their new homes.”

She said residents had access to an array of facilities as part of the larger Emporio complex.

“We have delivered in the Reflection Cove building an additional pool for the complex, so residents now have access to the new pool plus all of the existing amenities including a rooftop pool, barbecue, gym and cinema.”

RCQ is also the name behind such projects as the under-construction BIANCO at Caloundra, the Plaza Central residential development next to Sunshine Plaza and luxury apartment complex One The Esplanade in Cotton Tree.
