Gold Lotto participants have been urged to check their numbers after a winning ticket was purchased on the Sunshine Coast.

The mystery player held one of the five division one winning entries in Gold Lotto draw 4485, which was drawn on Saturday, July 12.

Each division one winner pocketed $1.008 million.

However, the winning entry on the Sunshine Coast was not registered to a player card or online account, meaning that officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner and instead must wait for them to check their tickets and come forward.

The ticket was purchased at Seasons IGA Caloundra.

Store manager Ashlee Withers said she was delighted to have sold the outlet’s first division one winning ticket.

“It’s so exciting to hear that a local or visitor from the area has won a major prize in the weekend’s draw,” she said.

“I hope our mystery winner checks their ticket soon and comes forward to enjoy their win.

“We will be getting the store fully decorated to celebrate this milestone and to spread the positive news.”

There’s a mountain of cash waiting for someone.

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell hoped the Sunshine Coast’s latest division one winner checked their winning ticket and came forward soon.

“Our elusive winner is likely starting their week oblivious to their newly minted millionaire status after the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw,” she said.

“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Saturday Gold Lotto ticket from Seasons IGA Caloundra to check your tickets now.

“Can you imagine if that ticket at the bottom of your handbag, tucked into a bedside drawer or car glovebox, is worth a life-changing $1 million?

“Make sure to check your tickets, and if you do discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to being the process of claiming your prize.”

The winning numbers were 21, 2, 36, 24, 18 and 1, while the supplementary numbers were 14 and 27.
