Police are appealing for assistance after three car fires occurred within neighbouring beachside suburbs.

Emergency services were called to Warran Road at Yaroomba just after 9pm on Thursday night, following reports a black Honda CR-V was on fire.

A call was also received at about 9.30pm, after a green Suzuki Ignis was on fire at Tharra Street at Coolum Beach.

Another incident occurred at Warran Road at Yaroomba at 9.45pm – a Mazda 121 hatchback was alight.

All the fires were extinguished however the vehicles sustained significant damage.

Police are appealing to anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV vision and any witnesses to come forward.

Investigators are especially seeking assistance from anyone who may have been in the area between Warran Road in Yaroomba and Tharra Street in Coolum between 9 and 10pm to contact police.
