Luxurious health and wellbeing features have been added to the on-site accommodation of a historic pub.

The facilities have been included at the Imperial Hotel Boutique Accommodation, at the 113-year-old pub in Eumundi.

The additions consist of a heated mineral pool, hot spa, a barbecue area and fire pit, as well as day beds and sun loungers.

Owner the Comiskey Group issued a media release stating that it took a holistic approach when designing the facilities, which offer “restorative bliss and an escape from the everyday”.

“Relax and renew, you’ll leave feeling lighter, with a sense of contentment and calm,” the group stated.

The Comiskey Group purchased the iconic Imperial Hotel and its on-site accommodation, which was formerly known as HOLA, late last year.

There is plenty of space to relax.

The latter was rebranded and the new wellness facilities are a part of the group’s broader initiative to improve and expand on the offerings at the pub and the accommodation.

The pub is undergoing extensive renovation, with stage one to see an all-new front bar, gaming room and TAB.

Stage two will see the hotel open the largest kids’ games room on the Sunshine Coast, a new restaurant and more.

Comiskey Group director Rob Comiskey said he was excited to share the first completed project, the wellness facilities.

“We hope the new wellness facilities instill confidence in our commitment to excellence.

“We are dedicated to delivering and investing in this incredibly unique part of the Sunshine Coast, ensuring world-class standards for locals and tourists to enjoy for decades to come.”

The accommodation features 15 contemporary chic rooms that are decorated in local art.
