Saturday, September 7, 5.40pm: One stable patient has been transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a single-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway south bound at Beerburrum at 3.57pm.

Saturday, September 7, 5.40pm: Two uninjured patients have been assessed at a vehicle fire on Bruce Highway south bound at Beerburrum at 3.08pm. Both patients did not require transport to hospital.

Saturday, September 7, 12.15pm: Paramedics transported one patient to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition following a motorbike incident on Mapleton Road, Burnside, at 9.45am.

Saturday, September 7, 8.45am: A man with potentially life-threatening injuries has been taken by helicopter to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a serious motorcycle and vehicle crash on Kinmond Creek Road at Cootharaba, west of Noosa, at 6.18am.

The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical pilot landed the aircraft on a grassy area near the incident.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and local Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the patient, aged in his 50s, for multiple injuries.

Saturday, September 7, 8.45am: A stable female patient in her teens was transported with a head injury to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following an e-scooter incident on Point Cartwright Drive, Buddina, at 8.05pm last night.

Friday, September 6, 5pm: One stable patient has been transported to Nambour Hospital and one stable patient has been transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Point Cartwright Drive at Buddina at 3.11pm.

Friday, September 6, 4.30pm: One stable patient has been transported to Gympie Hospital following a fall from an e-scooter on the corner of Murrays Road and Pomona Kin Kin Road at Kin Kin at 2.47pm.

Friday, September 6, 3.15pm: The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service will conduct a planned burn in Mooloolah River National Park, Meridan Hill Section on Friday and/or Saturday, weather permitting. As a result of the planned burn, smoke may be seen in the nearby areas.

Friday, September 6, 11.10am: Bushfire warnings have been cancelled for Caloundra South and Bells Creek, Peregian Springs and Coolum Beach, Ringtail Creek and Cooroibah, and Mapleton. Fire conditions have eased. Crews are no longer required.

Thursday, September 5, 7am: A stable patient was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a vehicle collided with two parked vehicles on Alice Street and Lindsay Street, Alexandra Headland, at 9.12pm last night.

Thursday, September 5, 6am: The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service will conduct a planned burn in the Ringtail State Forest today and tomorrow, weather permitting. Smoke may be seen in the nearby areas of Cooroibah, Ringtail Creek, Cootharaba and Tewantin.

There will also be a planned burn in Mapleton National Park on the same days. Smoke may be seen in the vicinity of Leafy Lane and Delicia Road trailheads, Mapleton day use area and the Mapleton end of the Gheerulla trail bike track area.

Wednesday, September 4, 7.15am: A 9.5-hectare section of Doonan Creek Environment Reserve will undergo a planned burn tomorrow, weather permitting, between 9am and 8pm as part of Sunshine Coast Council’s Bushfire Management Program.

The east sections of the reserve will be closed during burn operations

Wednesday, September 4, 7.15am: Paramedics were on standby at a reported structure fire on West Terrace, Caloundra, at 6.02pm last night. No patients were assessed by paramedics.

Tuesday, September 3, 6.30pm: Paramedics have transported a stable patient to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a motorcycle crash on Castle Green Court at Bli Bli at 4.20pm.

Tuesday, September 3, 3.15pm: Old Gympie Road at Mooloolah Valley was closed at the intersection of Connection Road due to a traffic crash. Police asked drivers to avoid the area and expect delays.

Paramedics transported a patient with chest injuries to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following the two-vehicle crash at 2.38pm.

Monday, September 2, 10am: A girl is in a stable condition after she collapsed at Noosa Heads main beach yesterday afternoon.

Noosa lifeguard supervisor Rowan Simpson said the girl had been in knee-deep water when she collapsed and stopped breathing.

“But the lifeguard saw her straight away and commenced CPR,” he said.

Three lifeguards treated the girl until paramedics arrived and took over, transporting her to Noosa Airfield where they were met by a LifeFlight helicopter.

The girl, believed to be 13, was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital where she remains.

Sunday, September 1, 7.20pm: A 12-year-old girl has been airlifted in a serious condition by helicopter to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a drowning incident at Noosa Heads at 3.32pm.

Sunday, September 1, 12.05pm: Paramedics transported one patient to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition following a motorbike incident on Margaret Street at Kenilworth at 9.28am.

Sunday, September 1, 12.05pm: One stable patient has been transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a fall from a bicycle on the Parklands Mountain bike Trails at Parklands at 6.53am.

Sunday, September 1, 12.05pm: A stable male in his 50s with a leg injury was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following an e-scooter incident on Allure Street at Palmview at 8.58pm.

Saturday, August 31, 6.10pm: A stable patient with a significant leg injury has been transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a vehicle and motorcycle crash on the corner of junction Road and Dandaloo Drive at Cootharaba at 2.31pm.
