“The team have spent 18 months planning, building, designing menus and pouring our passions into this project,” the post said.
“It’s been a bloody good ride and we can’t wait for you all to get in and check it out.”
Bookings for the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, which is located at the Noosa Marina, are also now open.

The Peli’s website says the menu will emphasise fresh ingredients and have share-style offerings, plus an extensive wine list.
“Peli’s offers a dynamic dining experience focused on share-style dishes, a custom-built charcoal grill and an inviting coastal atmosphere,” it says.
It is the newest culinary endeavour for 2016 MasterChef runner-up Matt Sinclair and fellow chefs Michael Rickard and Jeremiah Jones, who are the team behind Sum Yung Guys.

Sum Yung Guys opened at Sunshine Beach in 2017 before moving to a larger venue in Noosaville in 2021.
Mr Sinclair posted to his social media last week saying how excited he was to open Peli’s.
“The last year of coordinating this project together has been the kind of challenge a man could only wish for in this one life,” he said.
“It has certainly taken a village to bring this big girl together and the beauty was all in the journey with them. Counting down the days.”

The restaurant will also have a wedding venue and functions space, with a private waterfront dining room able to accommodate up to 40 guests.
Larger weddings with up to 120 guests, taking out the whole venue, will also possible.
