Sunday, September 15, 7.45am: A stable female patient in her 30s was transported to Nambour Hospital following a single-vehicle rollover on Cooroy Noosa Road, Tewantin, at 10.29pm last night.

Saturday, September 14, 10.30am: Two people have died after a crash at Bells Creek. Paramedics attended a motorbike and vehicle incident on Central Avenue and Aura Boulevard at 1.16am. Three patients were assessed. One male patient in his 30s was sadly declared deceased at scene. One male patient in his teens was also declared deceased at scene. One male patient in his teens was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with an eye and shoulder injury.

Friday, September 13, 2.10pm: Paramedics transported one patient to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition following a reported snake bite on Winchester Road and Rosegum Street at Little Mountain at 1.15pm.

Friday, September 13, 7.45am: One stable man in his 30s was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with upper limb injuries following a vehicle and motorcycle crash on Steve Irwin Way at Glenview at 4.24am.

Friday, September 13, 7.45am: Multiple paramedics attended a truck and vehicle crash, in which the vehicle caught alight, on Nambour Connection Road and Schubert Road at Woombye at 12.38am. One stable female patient was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Friday, September 13, 7.45am: One female in her teens was transported to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition with suspected back and head injuries after a vehicle went down a ditch off Greenridge Pinbarren Road at Cooran at 10.40pm.

Friday, September 13, 6.50am: It’s the Noosa Country Show holiday today. There is a range of activities, entertainment, food and demonstrations at the event, held at the Pomona Showgrounds on September 13 and 14.

The theme for the show is ‘cartoon’. Attendees can look forward to a variety of cartoon-themed attractions. One of the main highlights will be The Grand Parade, showcasing an array of creatively designed cartoon-themed floats.

Thursday, September 12, 12.30pm: Paramedics have transported a stable patient to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Anzac Avenue at Maroochydore at 10.46am. A second patient was also assessed on scene but declined transport.

Thursday, September 12, 10.55am: Paramedics transported a stable patient to Nambour Hospital following a single-motorcycle crash on Reef Street, Noosaville, at 8.51am.

Thursday, September 12, 8.15am: Three Queensland Fire Department crews attended a house on fire at Egret Court in Caloundra at 12.48am.

It’s understood the fire was in one location of the building, but smoke was spread throughout.

Two firefighters were called into action with breathing apparatus. A search of the property was conducted. It’s believed no one was inside the building.

The fire was out within 10 minutes.

Crews ventilated the space and conducted atmospheric monitoring.

A fire investigator was tasked to the scene this morning and the investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, September 11, 4.45pm: Police have asked for public assistance to locate a 69-year-old man who went missing from Boreen Point earlier today. 

Ian Tope was last seen at an address on Uranga Parade about 8am and has not been heard from since.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Mr Tope’s welfare as he has a medical condition.

He is described as Caucasian, about 175cm tall, of average build, with grey hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information should contact police.

Tuesday, September 10, 10am: A stable patient with a hip injury was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a vehicle and pedestrian incident on First Avenue at Caloundra at 9.19am.

Tuesday, September 10, 9.05am: A stable patient with a leg injury was transported to Nambour Hospital after a vehicle and pedestrian incident on Century Court, Mount Coolum, at 8.20am.

Tuesday, September 10, 6.50am: A stable patient with minor injuries was transported to Nambour Hospital following a three-vehicle crash on the Sunshine Motorway southbound at Buderim at 6.11pm last night. Three other occupants were uninjured and declined hospitalisation.
