Monday, October 28, 6.55am: Emergency services attended the scene of a reported fire which affected multiple vehicles and structures on Caloundra Street and Dyer Street at Landsborough at 9.47pm. No patients required QAS assistance and paramedics were cleared around 11.30pm.
Monday, October 28, 6.55am: Paramedics assessed two patients on Palmwoods Montville Road at Palmwoods 7.10pm following a two-vehicle crash. One patient was transported in a stable condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital and the other patient did not require transport.
Sunday, October 27, 1pm: Paramedics transported two patients in stable conditions to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a two-vehicle incident on Sippy Downs Drive at 5.55pm on Saturday.
Sunday, October 27, 1pm: The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a diver after an incident in Moreton Bay.
LifeFlight was tasked at 11.50am on Saturday after an EPIRB was activated with the multi-agency search involving the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSAR) and Coast Guard.
It’s believed a woman in her 20s was injured while spearfishing when her left leg made contact with a boat propeller.
Boaties pulled her aboard the vessel and administered first aid before she was transferred to a larger boat nearby and met by the Coast Guard.
She was then brought to Moreton Island where the LifeFlight helicopter was waiting.
The LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic treated the patient for significant leg injuries.
She was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
