“This isn’t just an opening, it’s a movement,” he said.

“This program is destined to become the benchmark for similar initiatives across the country,” Mr Nebe said.

“We’re not just setting the stage for incredible music experiences, we’re shaping a blueprint for inclusive employment, personal growth and community engagement.”

The new hub at The Station boasts four state-of-the-art studios, offering music mentoring, podcasting stations, open mic workshops and drum circles.

Since 2000 Team Musicare has grown from one participant attending a three-hour weekly session to an organisation with more than 30 staff and 170 weekly participants in Redcliffe. The project is privately funded.

“It doesn’t get more grassroots than this,” Mr Nebe said.

“We started with nothing but a passion for music and a vision for inclusivity.

“Today, we’re proving that with hard work, community support, and innovation, you can create something extraordinary.”

The launch will be held from 10am until late, with free entry to the day events. Tickets are available via Moshtix for the evening schedule.
