A private hospital on the Sunshine Coast has reopened after a $10 million transformation.
The Caloundra Private Day Hospital now boasts three state-of-the-art operating theatres and new patient support areas, significantly expanding its capacity to serve patients.
The upgrade will enable locals to access enhanced ophthalmology and endoscopy services.
Ramsay Surgical Centres national CEO Claire Thurwood said she was thrilled the centre could offer more important health care services.
“Caloundra Private Day Hospital will offer the community convenient access to high-quality, compassionate care in a modern and comfortable setting, close to home,” she said.
