A man has suffered serious injuries after a vehicle and pedestrian incident on Monday night.

The Queensland Ambulance Service reported that the incident occurred on the corner of Nicklin Way and Main Drive, Bokarina, at 10.09pm.

Queensland Police also responded to the incident.

“Police were called at approximately 10.10pm to a traffic crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian on Nicklin Way at Bokarina,” they said.

“The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

“Investigations into the incident are ongoing.

“Anyone with information or relevant footage is asked to contact police.”

The man was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with a “significant, potentially life-threatening” head injury.

Meanwhile, a man in his 60s with abdominal pain was transported in a potentially life-threatening condition to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital following a two-vehicle crash at Elimbah on Monday night.

A man in his 40s also suffered minor injuries in the incident on Bigmor Drive at 7.30pm.
