Police are investigating following a serious traffic crash in Birtinya yesterday afternoon.

About 5.50pm, police were called to Kawana Way to reports a silver Foton Sauvana and e-bike had collided.

The rider, a 42-year-old Battery Hill man, was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver, a 42-year-old Wurtulla man, was not physically injured.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information or vision to contact police.

It was one of several incidents to occur around the region overnight.

Paramedics attended a single-vehicle crash on Glass House Woodford Road at 1.35am. A woman in her 20s in a stable condition with a head injury, a woman in her 20s in a stable condition with minor injuries and a child who was uninjured were transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

A man in his 40s with a hand injury was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition following a vehicle and motorcycle crash on Arkana Drive, Noosa Heads, about 10.30pm.

A man in his 20s with a leg injury was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition following a bicycle incident on Currie Street, Nambour, at 10.21pm.
