Beerwah Police Station has welcomed new Officer-in-Charge Senior Sergeant Brendan Davis.
Member for Glasshouse Andrew Powell recently met with Snr Sgt Davis to discuss hooning and dangerous driving, how to service communities like Beerburrum and Mooloolah Valley and dealing with young offenders.
“Sgt Davis brings a wealth of experience and a real enthusiasm for his job,” Mr Powell says.
“Great to have him on board.”
From January 21 to April 20, Queensland Police crime data recorded 46 offences within the Beerwah district.
Of those, 121 were drug offences, while 100 were related to theft and 75 traffic infringements.
