A Sunshine Coast mum has broken down in tears of joy after hearing she was suddenly $100,000 richer.

The Landsborough resident scored the first prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10475, drawn on Tuesday, June 29.

When an official from The Lott contacted her break the exciting news, the woman was ecstatic.

“Oh my god,” she cried. “Thank you. Thank you.”

“I’m a bit speechless.

“I can’t wait to tell my family. They will be so excited.

“I’ve been playing for a little while and now I’ve won $100,000. I can’t believe it.

“It’s the start of school holidays and obviously the beginning of lockdown so this is a very nice surprise.”

With the money about to hit her bank account, it didn’t take the winner long to list of a few ways she’d enjoy her prize.

“It will certainly come in handy,” she said.

“I think I’d love to put it towards some landscaping and one day building our dream home.

“You’ve made my day.”

The winning entry of 10 random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.48 million for draw 1537, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $630,000 for draw 10476.

In 2020, 141 Lucky Lotteries first prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $48.61 million.

During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by an Ermington woman who won a Mega Jackpot prize of $11.73 million in January.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw.

As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws, one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number.

If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won.

If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
