A Sunshine Coast snake guru and his team have become so popular, their adventures – and the region – will continue to be beamed around the world.
Stuart McKenzie and his colleagues from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 attracted plenty of interest in their debut season of Aussie Snake Wranglers on National Geographic this year, so the series has been renewed for 2022.

Full of action and suspense, the program thrusts audiences into Queensland’s snake catching world, where one mistake could cost your life.
Australia and New Zealand viewers have fallen in love with Stuart and his colourful team, including Mullet Mick, Adele, Chris, Jess and Olivia.
Since its debut in September, the series has proved to be a hit with local audiences, routinely being the most watched factual program on subscription television in its Tuesday night time-slot.
McKenzie leads his dedicated snake catching team in the beautiful surrounds of the Sunshine Coast, as they work in one of the most active snake regions in the world.
More than 20 different species call the area home, including the world’s second most venomous snake, the Eastern Brown snake, highly venomous red-bellied black snakes, whip snakes, giant carpet pythons and more.
Each episode is a thrill ride that sees the team respond to the distress calls of everyday Australians who find themselves face-to-face with the reptiles.
The series is produced by Breakout Productions in partnership with the South Australian Film Corporation and is available on-demand via Foxtel, Fetch and SKY NZ.
Stuart and the team put their lives on the line to ensure the safety of those who find a slithering surprise in their home, school or business.
Season one has already showcased the weird and wonderful places snakes can call home, from school playgrounds to swimming pools, sheds and even the fridge.
