Selfish Sons live

Three-piece Brissy rock band Selfish Sons are kicking off 2022 with a huge live show at Eleven Dive Bar. The alternative band makes rock music with pop sensibility and these brothers have established themselves as eccentric entertainers with a powerful sound. Since the release of their debut EP “Sixfour” in 2019, accumulating over 500,000 streams, they have been on four tours and independently sold out six headline shows at iconic Australian venues across the east coast.

Caloundra Regional Gallery offers families a new way to appreciate exhibitions together. Especially designed for kids, the Kids Art Trail (complete with clipboard and pencil) encourages exploration of the artworks and themes. This engaging activity stimulates children’s imagination by looking for clues, finding art, solving puzzles and creating their own works. The Art Trail is free and changes with each exhibition. It’s suitable for kids 4 to 12 years.

The Fabulous Caprettos

Musical friends are coming together to perform for the first time as a fabulous band. This performance will be something special as the audience can see and hear all artists performing together on stage for the entire duration of the concert. They will perform their hits and fan favourites, plus songs that will only be heard for the first time at the shows. The Fabulous Caprettos consist of Daryl Braithwaite on lead vocals, Russell Morris on lead vocals and guitar, Rai Thistlethwayte on lead vocals and keyboards, Jack Jones on lead vocals and guitar, Jackie Barnes on drums and Jason Vorherr on bass guitar.

Currimundi Lake Twilight Markets

The Currimundi Twilight Markets are a local favourite on the southern end of the Coast. Popping up on the scenic foreshore of Currimundi Lake, this new event is an intimate affair of 12 unique food stalls, a Your Mates bar and an entertainment area with live local music. Pack your own picnic blanket for all the eating and lazing you can do, plus your swimsuit or boardies for a sunset swim in the lake. Now that’s one chilled-out way to wrap up the week.

Dances for Harp and Flute

The Estrel Duo, comprising of Australian National Academy of Music flutist Lilly Yang and professional harpist Tijana Kozarcic, present an evening concert at the Maleny Community Centre, performing works by Rota, Marino, Hara-Crockford, Jobim and Piazzolla. This event is part of The Estrel Duo’s 2022 Queensland tour that will include concerts in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Toowoomba.

Pricey – Courtesy Bus tour
