Midnight Oil

Midnight Oil have announced their new album Resist and their final concert tour, which will stop on the Sunny Coast. The tour will see them performing classic Midnight Oil songs from across their repertoire while showcasing some new works. As the title makes abundantly clear, Resist engages with the issues of today, like the lead single “Rising Seas”, which tackles the climate crisis in typically uncompromising fashion.

Riton – Concert

Riton is a Grammy Award-winning British producer. Simon Hay – Aussie Medium

Out And About Exhibition

Caloundra Regional Gallery in collaboration with Sunshine Coast Libraries presents the next exhibition for the Maroochydore Library Artspace – an exhibition by Out and About Art Group. The group is an assembly of local artists who work to interpret the local landscape. Their art reflects various impressions of the environment where they meet each week. Their paintings for the exhibition range from realism to abstraction, using experimental and traditional methods and a variety of media. Their exhibition’s focus highlights the natural characteristics of the local flora and landforms.

Katie Noonan Trio

The Sunny Coast Rude Boys

The Sunny Coast Rude Boys are a 10-piece soundwave playing uplifting ska and reggae, and drawing on musical influences that have shaped this genre from the Jamaican movement through to UK Two Tone. Ray White Nambour Rodeo

CICADA Queensland welcomes Hearing Australia

CICADA Queensland is the only support group on the Sunshine Coast for people with hearing loss and/or Cochlear Implants and is hosting a joint presentation with Hearing Australia. Anyone with hearing loss is welcome to attend and find out what is available to help and support them. A third to a quarter of the population between 65-75 years old and over 75 years old has some hearing loss, which impacts their life in a negative way, so getting the support and information they need for better hearing is so important. Free hearing checks will be available on the day.

Viva La Vintage Market

Lovers of vintage treasures and bespoke crafts are in for a fine time at the next Viva La Vintage market. The markets are held four times a year and have developed a reputation as the place to find unique collectables. There’ll be a wealth of fabulous vintage wares, along with retro fashion gems, homewares, a huge selection of vinyls and handcrafted treasures. There will be live music as well as the Imperial Bar. A free live music event, Park Sounds, will be held across the road during the afternoon.

Baringa Forest Park Celebration.

Celebrate the opening of the new Baringa Forest Park with an Easter-themed morning of fun. With a special visit from the Easter Bunny and a dedicated Easter egg hunt, the event will feature games and live music from local artist Cory Carlyon. Attendees will be able to enjoy delicious barbecue treats, ice cream and coffee vans.
