The first residents have moved into a unique and ‘laid-back’ community by the beach.
Kombi Street at Stockland’s Bokarina Beach community has been a hive of activity as 44 households started moving into their new 1960s-inspired architectural beach homes.
The Kombi Street Beach Homes, designed by Hollindale Mainwaring Architecture, invoke a sense of sixties beach shack nostalgia with pastel colours, lightweight cladding, the use of natural lighting and a modern interpretation of the white picket fence at the forefront of the design.
Buyers were attracted to the turnkey homes’ seven different open plan designs, with high ceilings to flood the seamless indoor/outdoor living area with prevailing breezes.
The townhomes are 300m from the coastal pathway that leads to the waves of Bokarina Beach, with a hospital precinct, restaurants and cafes all close-by.
Matt Patullo, Senior Development Manager at Stockland, said the beach homes provided customers with an affordable, low-maintenance home in a great location at a premium coastal community.
