Showmen – The Ultimate Magic Spectacular
Prepare to experience a jaw-dropping spectacle of live magic, illusions and stunts with Showmen these holidays. Starring the biggest names in Australian and international magic, together they become the Showmen – a supergroup of conjurers, tricksters, comedians, illusionists, daredevils, dancers and more. The show is recommended for adults, teenagers and children eight years and up.

United Pro Wrestling event
UPW presents two hours of family-friendly entertainment, food, drinks, merchandise and lots of giveaways. Head along to see hard hitters, high-flyers and huge characters as they put on a night of entertainment you will never forget.

Aura beer garden
On the first Friday of every month in Aura, a cafe turns into a beer garden with live music. Head along and enjoy a variety of alcoholic drinks to kick off the weekend, ranging from beer, cider, spirits and Mr Consistent cocktails. There are also gourmet eats provided by local food truck favourites. Bring along a picnic rug and listen to live music from some of the Sunshine Coast’s top emerging artists. The new regular event is held at Mummy’s Cafe which has a tropical outdoor offering and is a go-to destination for locals to grab coffee and cake and connect.
When: The first Friday of every month, with the next event on Friday 1 July, 4.30 – 9.00pm

Oceania Rugby U20 Championship
Sunshine Coast Stadium is the new home of the Oceania Rugby U20 Championship and will play host to the contest for the first time since COVID-19 affected regional competitions. The 2022 event will bring international age-grade rugby to fans in South-East Queensland, with reigning champions and host Australia to welcome Fiji, New Zealand, and for the first time, Argentina to our beautiful region.
When: Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 10. Round one begins 5pm, July 1.

Clint Boge
Clint Boge has been on a national tour this year and performed in some of the best touring rooms in Australia. The former Butterfly Effect frontman will perform acoustic renditions of his solo releases and crowd favourites from The Butterfly Effect, plus road testing new works across two 40-minute sets each night.

Jonas and Barry in the Home – Theatre Show
Jonas and Barry in the Home finds new friends Barry Butterfield and Jonas Ainsworth living in an assisted living home together. Barry, a retired dentist, is newly a senior and unsure what to do with his days at Gateway Gardens. Jonas is a retired stage actor who spends his time wooing the women in the home.
When: Friday, July 1 to Saturday, July 9.

Celebrating Bloomhill’s 25th birthday
Party with Bloomhill Cancer Care like it’s 1997, at the Sunshine Coast charity’s Patron’s Gala and 25-year celebration. To celebrate the milestone Patron Raelene Boyle will host a Gala Auction Event with a 90s theme, but you don’t have to get dressed up in 90s theme. The event is all about celebrating Bloomhill’s legacy and successes and raising money to support those touched by cancer who need our help most. There will be food and drinks, music, prizes and more.
When: Friday, July 8, from 7pm.

Soup n Soul Exhibition & Art Market
The painters, potters and sewers of the Sunshine Coast Art Group present a market with soup to warm the soul. Feeling the chilly weather? Then warm up with a bowl of delicious homemade soup in a pottery bowl which you get to keep. You can select from an amazing range of hand-crafted and decorated ceramic bowls, have it filled with your choice of warming soup and enjoy some crusty bread to go with it for $15. You can even buy a microwave soup bowl holder. You can also purchase handmade items and art works, from paintings to pottery. You can chat to the artists, watch live demonstrations and enjoy music performed by Live Junction. There is also an activity to keep the children entertained, a coffee van and sweet treats. Proceeds go towards funding the not-for-profit club.

Sound of Music youth edition
Sunshine Coast Youth Theatre presents the youth edition of the all-time classic The Sound of Music. From the company that brought you Oliver, Grease and The Wizard of Oz, this abridged version is a perfect outing for the whole family. A cast of 50 talented performers, all under 18 years of age, will bring this iconic story of hope and family to life, with timeless, spirited classics such as “My Favourite Things“, “Climb Every Mountain“, “Edelweiss“ and many more.
